Hi, I’m Daphne, founder of Daphne’s Career Development Ltd. For over 17 years, I’ve lived and breathed nursing. I’ve worked as an emergency nurse, an agency nurse in a range of clinical environments (medical and surgical wards), a community nurse, a Specialist Practice Nurse, and in Higher Education — roles that shaped not only my clinical expertise but also my understanding of what nurses truly need to thrive.

I’ve seen brilliant, dedicated professionals overlooked.
I’ve seen talent go unrecognised.
I’ve seen nurses work incredibly hard, yet still feel unsure about their next step.

And I knew something had to change.

My Journey, Your Advantage

I spent nine years as an Emergency Nurse, completing specialist emergency training and developing advanced skills in high‑pressure clinical environments. I later moved into community nursing, becoming a Specialist Practitioner and Nurse Prescriber, and eventually a qualified Higher Education teacher.

Every stage of my career taught me something essential:
Nurses are capable of extraordinary things — they simply need the right support, strategy, and confidence to step into their potential.

That’s why I created Daphne’s Career Development Ltd.
